Regression of Fibrosis in Chronic Liver Disease

Yesterday I shared a great visual chart on the staging of liver disease. Today I was reminded of a study that was done which indicates the need to take regression into consideration of the staging.

Some individuals have a higher probability of regression and may at the height of illness stage F/4 Fibrosis and stage 4 cirrhosis. Yet as they removed the damaging factor or received successful treatment their scarring regressed, the staging should show they are in a downward trend (regressing) rather than progressing.

This is a long video but worth watching

Love, Sue

A few weeks ago, I reported on the official Swiss watch export data for the first six months of 2022. The data link – gathered and provided by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH) – told a story of highs, link more highs, and link a hidden low.

I guess I might be over-sentimentalizing the whole thing. After all, God knows that "out of production" doesn't mean "vanished entirely in every form from the face of the Earth" (although depending on the price and rarity of the watch it might come to the same thing). And there are still some of them available link for sale, so it's not as if the door's shut permanently on getting one if you want one. But I can't help link but feel it's a little bit of link a loss.
