This reference features a bracelet link with curved end link links, in contrast with link the straight end links on previous models. Production ceased in 2012 when the Datograph Up/Down was introduced, and a bracelet option was no longer available.

But that can be said link for much of the current Seiko 5 range. Where the SSK stands out is that it includes Seiko's new 4R34 GMT movement.
