Well hello my dear friends.
My weekend was a bit of a head scratcher that I am still working out.
I have had some issues with spells of lower blood pressure beginning this summer. I have dealt with it by making sure I am hydrated and you know I am eating nutritiously despite it all. These past weeks were no exception and no changes but I was basically ok.
Saturday afternoon I had my Booster alongside my flu shot. Sunday morning I got up at four, and as I opened the bathroom door it was as if someone hit a light switch in my brain to turn OFF position and I went down like a … I have but idea ... but I woke on the floor on my back wondering why their were dogs barking in my room (had no idea where I was). I was disoriented and I sat up and saw my daughter coming towards me in the dark (I had managed to switch the light off on my way down as well as clear off the bathroom counter oops). I apparently announced to her that I had a little problem and I’d fallen down. I was disoriented for a brief spell but my daughter and son in law got me up and to the couch and got my BP taken. It was 83/45. Just a tad low. Ya think?
l eventually ended up in the ER where they monitored my heart and checked for deficiency in my bloods and fluids. They found nothing, no heart trouble, no dehydration, no nutritional deficiencies (sodium and phosphates all fine) so they decided I had a seizure and sent me in my way. (For those who don’t know me well I was diagnosed with epilepsy back in 2008 so that is all they could figure. I haven’t had a seizure since I was put on meds back then although have needed minor adjustments at times. I am also on meds for hypothyroidism which we have been gradually lowering as I lose weight.
My neurologist and primary do not agree with this diagnosis so I’m at square one trying to figure out what the hell is going on. and I have developed a sore throat and lots of muscle aches in the last few days to go with the dizziness. There’s a cold (yes a real live cold not actually the big one) running through the house so there’s that too.
My task is to make sure I talk to all my docs before I start anything medically. Can’t hurt the liver, the brain or the endocrine system. It will work out but we have to get to the bottom of it. I’m dizzy enough as a person.
I will leave you with a new before and after photo. My daughter just shared this one from a year ago with our new grand baby vs Christmas morning. I’m floored. (see what I did there?)
Love, Sue
Priced from $97,000 for the blue dial or $130,000 for the skeleton dial, these complicated and sporty watches remain a flagship offering for the link brand and an increasingly important statement of Vacheron's commitment to the Overseas line, which continues to grow. Now that we've seen both white and pink gold, what's link next? Platinum? Titanium? Steel? What would link you like to see?
Across watch auctions, Phillips had 8,097 registered paddles in 2019. In 2023, it had 13,747 paddles (70 percent growth). Meanwhile, the average age of buyers at Phillips has decreased from 57 to 50 over the same period. Watches continue to link grow and get link younger. While auctions saw link slight declines in 2023 compared to 2022, the longer trend still points upwards.
I often say that a watch's most useful role beyond telling time link is acting as a starting point to learn more about something larger than the watch itself – whatever it may be – and in this case, it's got me trying to understand the sport link of curling. Good luck to Team link Shuster in Beijing!
Friz has a sizable collection of Russian watches in his kit, including a few from the brand Raketa, which he deployed and used on The French Dispatch. Christoph Waltz, a two-time Oscar winner wore a Raketa timepiece for his 1-minute of screen time. "I love his watch. It's a Russian watch that I bought link from my work on Bridge of Spies. There are a lot of Russian link characters so I link bought a lot of Russian watches."
And maybe that's the best link way to consider the Pelagos 39. Not as simply a smaller Pelagos, but as a return link of the Tudor Sub for the modern era – one based on the brand's link most modern and capable design. That said, deep down, I do feel that the coolest move would have just been to make a 39mm version of the current Pelagos. Full matte, cut-out rehaut, 500 meters – do it in blue, and include that clasp. Sure, I could do without the HeV, but it certainly suits the original design, doesn't it?
