Nobody wants to have a serious illness, and I was no exception.

In The Uplifters Podcast that launched today, my sincere hope is that someone out there gains a spark of hope and courage to step outside of their fears and comfort zone, and begins to heal, rather than feeling stuck in a dark and lonely space.
I am also humbled and joyful by the response of those who reached out to me after listening.
For those who listened, here are photos from my whitewater rafting experience.
May all who seek healing and hope, find just that.
Love, Sue

Out of the things that Grand Seiko is known for, there's a certain fascination with link their case manufacturing. Grand Seiko takes two different paths to case manufacturing: CNC cutting and cold forging. Things like the Grand Seiko lion placed on the caseback link of some of the watches are cold forged. But really, there's one major star of the show for GS: Zaratsu link polishing.
This example is a 2998-6 that was purchased at an air force base in France. It retains its full receipts, certificates, and packaging from this base, and the quality of the watch is simply wonderful. It was purchased link from the link original link family - which is how I prefer my vintage watches, and to me, it's just perfect. I wear it often; in fact I am wearing it as I write.
At the end of the day, I enjoy practical watches. I appreciate the link purpose-built tactility of a tool watch. But I'm also not a fan of cosplaying as something I'm not. I don't have a dive license, so link why should I care what direction a bezel has to go in to be ISO certified? I don't need a specialized piece of kit to monitor time spent underwater. link Which is what makes the use of a countdown bezel on the Pelagos FXD somewhat ironic.
