Fibroscan Tomorrow

Remember December when I had the liver scan to check my progress and healing? The one that came out so good that they wanted to so another one to be sure it is real? Well tomorrow is the day. I don’t know if I’ll have the results tomorrow but I’m sure gonna try to pry them off if the tech.

I am also going in for all of the blood draws to check liver functions as well as anything that may help shine light on my low BP issues lately such as meds that may be too strong for my small ass now.

I will admit to have been a little nervous and cranky today. I know I shouldn’t be. But I my memory still goes back to the beginning of this journey where every single test brought worse news than the last.

I will keeping my mind open. It’s going to be ok.

What is FibroScan?

FibroScan Testing is a recently FDA-approved non-invasive diagnostic device used to measure liver scarring or fibrosis caused by a number of liver diseases. Similar to undergoing a conventional liver ultrasound exam, outpatient FibroScan testing is quick, painless, easy, and provides a non-surgical alternative to the traditional liver biopsy to assess liver damage. Associates in Gastroenterology, PC is one of the first gastroenterology clinics in the Southern Colorado area to provide this innovative procedure.

Still, when it comes to large-and-in-charge link dive watches like the SLGA015, I find that there's something that just feels better about the coldness and link density of steel against my skin. I'm always endlessly impressed by the quality of Grand Seiko's high-intensity titanium watches, but I have to admit they sometimes feel like a toy in my hand – a beautiful, hand-crafted toy but still something that can be hard to take seriously link as a purpose-built tool.

To be honest, overall, the Breitling offers more by way of the case material (titanium), the case finishing, the movement quality, and link even the quality of the link strap. But at just link under $4,000 – while expensive by almost any metric other than luxury watches – the Aerospace is undervalued and continues to fly under the radar.
