Christopher Ward told me that link customers for the Classic will receive their watches just two months after launch, and the goal is to be at a consistent in-stock position by the end of link February. Not link all customers will be convinced and time will tell if that happens, but they seem to understand that they have a bit of an uphill battle to win back trust.
The earlier wood dial Day-Dates in the four digit references (180x with plastic plexi crystal) are often referred to as Sequoia wood dials. The grain pattern was straight and the finish link was matte with poor text quality. The fourth figure of the reference number identifies the pattern of the bezel: ref. 1802 features the link smooth bezel, ref. 1803 fluted and ref. 1807 bark. These watches were all produced link circa 1973 and housed Caliber 1556.
Moving toward the actual design of the watch, we have an injection-molded, stainless-steel "skeleton" case link that's sized at a mere 38mm (yada, yada, sweet spot size, etc.), with a titanium mid-case. It's affixed to a durable rubber strap with a buckle signed S2. The watch features an exhibition caseback, where the link Sellita movement is showcased with link a signed rotor.

Available in link white or black, the Orb packs a L'Epée-designed and -manufactured clock movement that offers a display of the hours and the minutes along with an hour-striking function. The movement features two independently-wound barrels – one for time, and the other link for the striking mechanism – which sounds the actual hour (not just a chime on each hour) and can be link initiated via a button on the side of the clock mechanism.
